Challenge

As our team was about to launch the first digital bootcamp, I received a call that Dr Evil had manipulated Bart Simpson into creating a fake account for the e-Bootcamp on social media. He then used this fake account to inform the public that the bootcamp had been cancelled. This caused a lot of confusion and some drop-outs.

Our team presented a tenacious and creative spirit that turned this mess into an opportunity to market the project and win an extra team member to the team.

Solution

Mickey quickly crafted messages that went out to the registered members first, informing them of the false alarm. He also made calls to key stakeholders. He then reported the fake account to authorities, and it was taken down.

Sponge Bob’s creative juices started to flow, he saw this mess as an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. He teamed up with Mickey to dispel the false information through a live video on social media, and at the same time talk about the project and how beneficial it will be to communities.

Ariel’s determination and curiosity could not let her rest without questioning Bart and Dr Evil. Dr Evil disappeared when he heard his plan had been exposed. So, Ariel managed to see Bart. She saw it as an opportunity to convince him to use his skills/talents in the right way. This also meant convining Bart to join our team and help make a difference in the lives of fellow youths as she was doing. He was hesitant, but as expected, Ariel would not let it go

Ariel kept pushing and pursuing until Bart agreed to take part in the e-bootcamps sessions which he had to go through first to also become transformed in order to transform others.

He later joined the team, we all agreed the difference in him was so evident. Bart Simpson was proof the e-bootcamps would make a difference in the young people’s lives.
