Prof.Shivaram Malavalli has 35 years of Industrial, Technical Education and Research experience in the field of developing Technocrat Entrepreneurs and supporting them during their establishment, sustenance and growth.

He is presently the President of an eHealth Company TeleVital, which has offices in USA and India. Televital was adjudged and awarded as "The Telemedicine Conpany of the Year" by Frost & Sullivan. He is the Chairman & Managing Director of the eHealth TBI (Technology Business Incubator), an initiative sponsored by department of Science and technology Govt.of India.

As the member of the San Francisco - Bangalore Sister City Initiative Prof.Shivaram signed an MOU between eHealth TBI and University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC) to establish a Cross Border Entrepreneurship Initiative facilitating global startups. This Cross Border Entrepreneurship initiative attracted an award from TiE Con 2011 and a tripartite MOU between eHealth TBI, UCSC and TiE Siilicon Valley was signed to promote Cross Border Entrepreneurship Initiative. Prof. Shivaram is the TiE Bangalore Chapter Member and the publisher of the Cross Border Entrepreneurship News Letter.

Prof.Shivaram Malavalli is the Trustee of the Indus International Schools and the Director of Biopure SEZ (Special Economic Zone) and Dhvanyaloka Center for Indian Studies. He is also the member of the Governing Council of PES Institute of Technology (PESIT) and Advisor CMR Group of Institutions.

Prof.Shivaram founded and is actively involved in the socially relevant organisation Alert Citizens Team (ACT), a Citizen centric approach promoting Harmony and Brotherhood across different faith.
