Penman with the Words of Feeling
There are people who are not sure of what they want to become. Lost in the diversity of the world and in the state of exploring what could be the best fit. I am one of them. I am not sure as to what job I should adopt as a dream job.
Others who have the set dream job in mind, I am envious of them, I adore their structure of life and hard work towards it. If only, if I could have one too.
Over the years, gradually, I started to accumulate of what I love doing. Maybe, for them, this moment came earlier. There was a time when I thought it was a little pop up idea exciting to me just like some other random things feels exciting but you never take it so far. However, this thing was different, it stayed long, lingering in my mind, and there’s my body, simultaneously never feeling tired to do it. I tried holding it in, controlling to give space to what is in front of me but it was disheartening to do so. My heart raced with the thought of it. I asked myself if I can do it, do better in that. Still, despite the risk, the thought of giving it a try was more valuable.
Here, I am today, taking a step closer to my dream job, giving it a try, and it makes me contented. Capturing a moment through description, storing it to cherish it with the same feelings in the far future, and to reminisce is the gift that my dream job provides.
My dream profession is to become a writer and I believe I shall become one, one fine day. “If there’s a book that you want to read, and it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it” – Toni Morrison. I will write books that I want to read. ~ Sonam Wangmo, 20 y.o. |
